A very good company directory with more robust sales data than most. It doesn't cover as many companies as D&B or ReferenceUSA.

D&B - D&B provides business information and credit reports on public and private companies. They have a variety of products to choose from. Their DnBi product provides financial, credit, and officer information on over 100 million businesses in the D&B global database in a web format. This is everything that was included in their BIR reports. D&B data is also available on Dialog. They also have an end-user product called Zapdata.

Factiva

Reports on over 30,000 companies, including Bureau van Dijk company profiles and access to 8,000 business publications including Dow Jones publications such as the Wall Street Journal.

ReferenceUSA

Published by InfoUSA. Basically a phone book style company profiles database that includes a residential component. Allows you to search by many parameters (sales, SIC, NAICS, address, etc.)
